We install reinforcement, typically welded wire mesh or rebar on chairs, within the forms to add tensile strength and help control cracking. The pour itself is carefully coordinated. We work with trusted Long Island ready-mix suppliers to ensure we receive the right mix design for your project, including air-entrained mixes that resist freeze-thaw damage. Our crew places, consolidates, and screeds the concrete quickly and efficiently, then applies the chosen finish while the surface is still workable.

After finishing, we apply a curing compound to the surface to ensure proper hydration and strength development. We saw-cut control joints at the appropriate time to prevent random cracking. Once the patio has cured, we strip the forms, backfill along the edges, and clean up the site completely. We also apply a high-quality sealer to protect the surface from stains, UV fading, and moisture penetration.
