Roslyn Heights sits on elevated terrain above the Roslyn village center, with gently rolling streets and lots that average a third to half an acre — providing meaningful space for outdoor living features without the estate-scale investment required in neighboring Gold Coast villages. This value position makes Roslyn Heights one of the most active communities for outdoor kitchen and fire feature projects on the North Shore.

The housing stock features a mix of 1950s and 1960s ranches and split-levels alongside newer Colonials and expanded homes. Many of the original homes have small concrete patios that bear no relationship to how families entertain today.
